Lifetime Transferable Leak-Free Workmanship Warranty

At RE Roofing & Construction, we stand behind the quality of our work. We offer different workmanship warranty terms depending on the type of project performed.

Roofing installations are covered by our Lifetime Leak-Free Workmanship Warranty, while all other construction work is covered by a one (1) year workmanship warranty, as outlined below.

Roofing Workmanship Warranty (Lifetime – Transferable)

All new roof installations performed by RE Roofing & Construction are backed by a Lifetime Leak-Free Workmanship Warranty. If a roof we installed develops a leak caused solely by our workmanship, we will repair it at no cost to the homeowner.

This warranty is transferable one (1) time to a subsequent homeowner, adding long-term value to the property.

Roofing Warranty Transfer Terms

  • The lifetime workmanship warranty may be transferred one (1) time only

  • A $175 administrative transfer fee applies

  • Transfer must be requested in writing within 30 days of property closing

  • Failure to properly transfer the warranty voids all remaining workmanship coverage

What Is Covered (Roofing Only)

  • Lifetime protection against leaks caused solely by workmanship errors related to our roofing installation
  • Roofing components supplied and installed by RE Roofing & Construction, including shingles, flashing, underlayment, and related roofing details

One-Year Workmanship Warranty (Non-Roofing Construction)

All non-roofing construction, including but not limited to patios, pergolas, decking, siding, trim, and general construction work, is covered by a one (1) year workmanship warranty from the date of completion.

This one-year warranty covers workmanship-related defects only and does not include lifetime or leak-free coverage.

What Is Not Covered (All Work)

  • Damage caused by acts of nature, including wind, hail, lightning, ice storms, or other weather-related events
  • Ice damming or ice-related conditions, including ice buildup caused by inadequate insulation or ventilation, blocked drainage, snow accumulation, or ice dams not promptly mitigated by the homeowner
  • Leaks or damage caused by lack of routine maintenance, neglect, or misuse
  • Work, alterations, or repairs performed by anyone other than RE Roofing & Construction
  • Damage resulting from structural issues, including foundation movement, settling, framing defects, or design flaws
  • Any damage, leaks, or failures resulting from roofing nails, fasteners, or penetrations contacting, puncturing, or damaging electrical, plumbing, water, gas, HVAC, low-voltage, or other utility lines, regardless of utility type, when such lines are installed too close to the roof decking, not installed in accordance with applicable building codes, or installed by other trades
  • Manufacturer defects in materials (covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only)
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic issues

General Limitations

  • The lifetime workmanship warranty applies only to roofing systems installed by RE Roofing & Construction
  • All other construction work is limited to a one-year workmanship warranty
  • Roofs must be properly maintained, including keeping gutters clear and addressing conditions that may contribute to water or ice buildup

  • Warranty coverage is limited strictly to the repair of workmanship-related issues

Legal Disclaimer

This Lifetime Leak-Free Workmanship Warranty applies only to roofing installations performed by RE Roofing & Construction and is transferable one (1) time for a $175 fee. All other construction work is covered by a one-year workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated in writing.

This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided. No other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply. Liability is strictly limited to repair of workmanship-related issues. Under no circumstances shall RE Roofing & Construction be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
